Community Impact Project

Three KYSAFF Chapters are currently working on Community Impact Projects, the Greater Lexington Chapter, the Lake Cumberland Chapter and the Corbin Chapter, better known as Southeastern Kentucky People Who Care. The Chapters have met with community leaders, from area businesses, government and other interested organizations. They have identified several areas of concern for their communities, and are now working to develop projects to address these concerns. Look for more information in future issues of The Freedom Flyer.

Provider Training Project

KYSAFF Board Members and staff recently presented information about self-determination, self-advocacy, and KYSAFF and our Mission to the Workforce Development Department of Goodwill Industries of Kentucky. The training was presented free of charge to the staff of Goodwill, as part of our ongoing outreach training program.
